MASTER OF BIBLICAL STUDIES

The Master of Biblical Studies program is designed to provide a broad biblical base for those who have graduated from a Bible College with a Bachelor of Theology or a Bachelor of Biblical Studies. The program applies biblical truths to the practical problems students face in life and ministry around the world. The program aims at providing a deeper understanding of Scripture and systematic theology, as well as critical skills for the integration of biblical knowledge with modern strategies for church ministry.

Admission Requirements
The applicant must present evidence of completion of Bible College and present evidence of dedication in some ministry area.

Course Requirements
The Master of Biblical Studies degree requires 48 credit-hours. A minimum of 42 credit hours must be completed at DBC.

MASTER OF DIVINITY

The Master of Divinity (MDiv) is a professional degree designed for those who have graduated from a secular College or University,  and are serving ,or preparing to serve, on a church staff or in other ministry positions. Students develop competencies in Biblical theology, church history, doctrine, spiritual formation, as well as servant leadership skills required for local church ministry. The curriculum may be completed in three years, although many students take longer due to family, church, and job responsibilities.

Admission Requirements
The applicant must present evidence of graduation from a secular College or University and present evidence of dedication in some ministry area.

Course Requirements
The Master of Divinity degree requires 96 credit-hours. A minimum of 84 credit hours must be completed at DBC.

MASTER OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING

The church is a healing community. The message of the Gospel is one of hope and healing for hurting individuals and families.

Damascus Bible College has partnered with the National Christian Counselor’s Association (NCCA) to utilize its extensive curriculum to offer the Master of Christian Counseling (MCC).

Requirements for the Master of Arts in Clinical Christian Counseling include advanced specialized training in Christian Counseling, clinical supervision, internship, practicum, and thesis), and qualify the graduate as a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor or Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor, with Board Certification in his or her chosen specialty areas, certified by the NCCA. More than 1,700 persons in the United States have been certified by NCCA as licensed Christian counselors, making it the largest such credentialing agency in the nation. (Over 4,000 counselors have been licensed world-wide by NCCA.)

The Master of Christian Counseling degree requires 60 credit-hours. A minimum of 36 credit hours must be completed at DBC.
