- MASTER OF DIVINITY: 96 credit hours
The Master of Divinity (MDiv) is a professional degree designed for those who have
graduated from a secular College or University, and are serving ,or preparing to serve,
on a church staff or in other ministry positions. Students develop competencies in
Biblical theology, church history, doctrine, spiritual formation, as well as servant
leadership skills required for local church ministry. The curriculum may be completed in
three years, although many students take longer due to family, church, and job
responsibilities.
Admission Requirements
The applicant must present evidence of graduation from a secular College or University
and present evidence of dedication in some ministry area.
Course Requirements
The Master of Divinity degree requires 96 credit-hours. A minimum of 84 credit hours
must be completed at DBC.
